About This Role
- Lead architecture and development of enterprise Java applications for forensic case management and LIMS platforms.
- Own technical design, implementation, system evolution, and automation ensuring robust, scalable solutions in a regulated forensic environment.
- Provide technical guidance, support capability development across distributed teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, QA, and DevOps.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in enterprise Java development and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Java 11/17, Java EE/Jakarta EE, PostgreSQL, WildFly, Eclipse RCP, and related technologies.
- Experience working in regulated or complex operational environments; collaboration across distributed delivery teams (UK, Europe, nearshore, offshore).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software architecture and hands-on development within large-scale, regulated forensic or similar operational domains.
- Skilled in modular system design, legacy system modernization, and backend/data engineering with focus on scalability and performance.
- Able to operate in distributed Agile/Scrum environments, providing technical leadership and acting as liaison between business and IT teams.
