Drive primary and secondary pharmaceutical sales in the Chennai territory focusing on inhalational anesthetics (SUPRANE®, AERRANE®, SEVOFLURANE®).
Manage relationships and negotiations with anesthetists, healthcare professionals, hospital purchase authorities, distributors, and channel partners to increase product penetration and market share.
Develop and execute monthly sales plans, forecasts, market activations, and strategic account plans; ensure product availability and compliance with Sales Force Effectiveness metrics.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm), Life Sciences (B.Sc.), Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience, including 2-3 years in anesthesia, critical care, medical devices, surgical products, or healthcare consumables.
Base location required: Chennai, India; territory coverage strictly within Chennai healthcare accounts.
Exposure to operating theatre environments and hospital procurement processes preferred; MBA or equivalent is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in driving primary and secondary sales within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector focused on anesthesia-related products.
Skilled in consultative selling, strategic account management, and data-driven decision-making to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
Comfortable operating in complex hospital environments engaging multiple stakeholders including HCPs, purchase authorities, and distributors, with ability to handle pricing and commercial negotiations.
