Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Provide architectural, design, and implementation consultancy for HPE Network Solutions mainly targeting Service Provider Data Center customers.
Lead network deployment and migration projects including requirements workshops, design documentation, migration planning, product integration, and training delivery.
Work onsite primarily at customer or partner locations with minimal travel (10%), collaborating closely with project managers and customer technical teams.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years’ experience in enterprise/telco/content provider Data Center environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with advanced Data Center technologies: VxLAN, EVPN, MCLAG, IP Fabric, and IP-related protocols such as IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, QoS, IPv6.
Familiarity with Data Center fabric SDN/automation tools (e.g., HPE Data Center Director), Linux servers, network services and scripting with Python, Git.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leading complex network design and migration projects with direct customer engagements and technical leadership.
Comfortable working in both onsite and remote environments with a consultative, technical individual contributor style.
Strong background with vendor-agnostic SDN solutions and automation orchestration in Data Center fabric environments, ideally with some telco or service provider focus.
