Identify and investigate security alerts and incidents using tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, cloud security, and email security platforms.
Collaborate with MSSP analysts and internal teams to manage security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response processes.
Support and improve security automation workflows, documentation, and continuous improvement in detection and response activities.
Minimum Requirements
2-3 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC), Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), Incident Response, or similar cybersecurity environment.
Working knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR platforms, network security fundamentals, Windows and Linux systems, identity services, and cloud security concepts.
Any degree (specific degree type not mentioned).
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience operating in a SOC or MSSP environment handling real-time threat detection, investigation, and incident response.
Familiarity with security automation tools (SOAR) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is advantageous.
Comfortable collaborating with global cybersecurity teams and following structured investigation playbooks with attention to detail in documentation.
