Monitor and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and cloud security platforms to identify and contain incidents.
Conduct structured threat hunting and analyze security telemetry using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to identify indicators of compromise.
Collaborate with MSSP and internal teams to review alerts, improve detection quality, and support security automation and incident response processes.
Minimum Requirements
2-3 years experience in Security Operations Center (SOC), MSSP, or Incident Response environments.
Working knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR alert investigation, and security monitoring concepts.
Foundational understanding of Windows, Linux, network security protocols, identity services, cloud security, and cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
Work Experience Required: 2-3 years explicitly mentioned in SOC or related cybersecurity roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in operational incident investigation and threat detection applying adversary frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
Comfortable handling alert triage, incident escalation, and security automation within a structured SOC/MSSP environment.
