About This Role
- Own end-to-end demand forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment planning for spare parts across business sectors and sales channels.
- Develop and maintain statistical forecast models, inventory control models, and replenishment plans to optimize stock levels and improve parts availability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to input into sourcing strategies, prevent stockouts/overstock, and monitor KPIs with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech/BE) in operations management, supply chain management, industrial engineering, materials management, or related field.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in demand and supply planning, preferably with spare parts management experience.
- Experience with SAP (Materials Management, APO) and Blue Yonder/JDA Demand 360, Inventory Optimization & Fulfilment modules.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 10-12 years relevant demand & supply planning experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of managing supply chain improvement projects and coordinating across different supply chain functions.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to build and interpret forecasting and inventory models to drive operational efficiency.
- Proficient in SAP and JDA systems with additional skills like SQL/Python coding and certifications such as CPIM or CSCP preferred.
