Own and evolve the build workflows from source checkout through compilation, packaging, and installation validation for a complex multi-repo software defined storage product.
Modernize and maintain the multi-component build ecosystem including C/C++, Go, and web UI builds using GitHub Actions and internal runners, ensuring fast, reproducible, and reliable builds.
Drive CI/CD design, build performance improvements, developer tooling, release automation, and artifact promotion workflows in collaboration with DevOps and cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
5-8 years experience in software, build engineering, developer infrastructure, or a closely related field.
Strong Linux C/C++ build expertise including GCC/Clang and build systems like SCons, Make, CMake, Meson, Ninja, or Bazel.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for build automation and diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with Docker-based build environments, Debian and RPM packaging, plus CI/CD integration with platforms like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
