About This Role
- Own testing activities for web-based products including preparing test plans, functional and regression testing for sprint releases.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium with JavaScript/TypeScript for regression suites.
- Ensure security and compliance by verifying access controls, data privacy (PHI), audit logging, and secure data handling in production and pre-release environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on QA experience in web-based product testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing (test cases, regression, smoke, cross-browser) and automation testing using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience in API testing with Postman and Swagger including auth, roles, payload, and negative cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (Jira or ClickUp), Agile/Scrum processes, and basic database query skills (MongoDB or SQL).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable handling both manual and automated testing with attention to security and compliance controls in healthcare related data environments.
- Experienced in sprint-based Agile workflows with the ability to manage test traceability and regression cycles across multiple releases.
- Familiar with security testing concepts around authentication, access control, and data privacy (HIPAA or similar frameworks).
