Serve as the AWS cloud architecture and operational SME, leading design, implementation, and support of cloud infrastructure and deployment automation primarily using Terraform and Kubernetes (EKS).
Lead incident response and disaster recovery activities including RCA, runbook creation, and failover testing to ensure cloud solution reliability and resilience.
Mentor junior engineers and enforce technical standards for IaC, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes operations, and cloud security across projects and teams.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, Terraform (including module design and state management), Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), Linux and Windows administration, and CI/CD pipeline development.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and configuration management with Ansible/AWX.
Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect and DevOps Engineer Professional; Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS) are beneficial but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technically senior individual contributor or team lead with proven ability to own complex cloud infrastructure transformations and provide SME guidance on AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC.
Experienced in driving operational excellence through automation, standardization, and incident leadership in dynamic customer or product-facing environments.
