About This Role
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning across production and non-production setups.
- Own L2 incident resolution and lead L3 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions within agreed SLAs, including disaster recovery and failover exercises.
- Coordinate with customer and internal teams, mentor junior DBAs, maintain operational documentation, and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure migrations and managed services customers.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Mandatory Oracle Database Administration certification.
- Willingness to participate in rotational shifts and on-call support; demonstrated experience with incident, problem, and change-management processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex multi-version Oracle database environments (10g to 19c) including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and patching lifecycle.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Oracle databases, EBS application services, SQL performance tuning, and automation using shell scripting.
- Capable of working in a managed-services setting, supporting multiple customers with strong customer communication and technical documentation skills.
