About This Role
- Own architecture and technical execution for one or more Real Time Payments (RTP) products or platform capabilities across multiple markets.
- Lead design and implementation of complex microservices-based, event-driven payment systems ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, security, and observability.
- Mentor senior engineers, drive engineering quality, and influence cross-market technical consistency and platform roadmap decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience including designing and building distributed systems at scale.
- Strong expertise in Java/Springboot and microservices architecture.
- Experience with performance engineering, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness in production environments.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years in software engineering.

- Experienced in enterprise backend development spanning multiple technology stacks including Java, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud/containerized environments.
- Proven ability to make high-impact technical decisions and lead engineering quality in highly regulated, high-throughput payment platforms.
