Analyze transactions across multiple payment channels to detect and mitigate fraud risks, including Account Takeover and Check Fraud investigations.
Lead efforts to identify emerging fraud trends, reducing losses and enhancing fraud prevention controls.
Serve as a resource for fraud strategy, assist in customer remediation, and provide mentorship and backup leadership within the team.
Minimum Requirements
6-8 years experience in Fraud Detection/Investigations or closely related field with experience on platforms like Actimize, Falcon, SAS Fraud Management, FICO, or NICE.
Experience conducting complex fraud investigations (Account Takeover, Identity Theft, fraudulent wire transactions, check fraud).
Knowledge of U.S. banking fraud regulations including Reg E, UDAAP, OFAC, BSA/AML implications.
Work Location: Bangalore; Role Type: Hybrid.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in applying analytical tools (Excel, SQL, SAS) and BI/dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI) for fraud pattern recognition and reporting.
Familiar with collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Fraud Strategy teams to enhance fraud response.
Demonstrated ability to improve fraud processes via automation, SOP updates, and control enhancements within U.S. banking environments.
