Identify, triage, and remediate security vulnerabilities in Finalsite’s web applications and proprietary software, focusing on .NET/C# code base.
Develop and enforce secure coding standards and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence across development teams, integrating secure SDLC practices.
Maintain compliance with educational data privacy laws (FERPA/COPPA) and international standards (GDPR/UK GDPR) while monitoring emerging web application threats.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on application security experience.
Strong hands-on experience in software development and code remediation with .NET/C# technology.
Ability to work remotely from India, comfortable with core working hours 18:00-21:00 IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in application security with deep understanding of web vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, specifically OWASP Top 10.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with development and QA teams in a remote, globally distributed environment.
Familiar with securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and compliance with educational data privacy frameworks (FERPA, COPPA, GDPR).
