About This Role
- Provide technical leadership and define architecture for Redwood's Workload Automation Platform, focusing on modernization and scalable, secure Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- Own and evolve core platform and infrastructure architecture emphasizing resilience, component communication, and scalability.
- Drive cross-team collaboration and integrate AI/ML to enhance Managed File Transfer and Workload Automation product capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on high-scale products and platforms.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and architecture principles.
- Extensive cloud platform experience (AWS preferred), EKS/Kubernetes, DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC), distributed SaaS systems, and enterprise file transfer protocols.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading complex technical initiatives, mentoring engineering teams, and driving architecture across multiple teams.
- Skilled in building and operating scalable distributed SaaS microservices with strong cloud-native expertise, especially on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Knowledgeable in AI/ML applications relevant to automation and enterprise data exchange, with understanding of secure enterprise communication and integration protocols.
