Own end-to-end Record-to-Report accounting and controllership activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, balance sheet governance, and audit support.
Lead transition and scaling of accounting activities into Hyderabad Accounting COE, establishing process ownership, KPIs, governance, and stakeholder collaboration.
Manage and develop a team (~5 members), drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX controls.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 12+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or audit experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Professional qualifications required: Chartered Accountant, CPA, MBA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX control requirements, intercompany and foreign currency accounting.
Must be based in Hyderabad with ability to work 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. IST (Monday to Friday); flexibility to work outside these hours as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader in a multinational, matrixed global finance organization managing RTR, close, and financial reporting functions.
Comfortable operating in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and influence skills.
Expertise in finance transformation initiatives including automation, process standardization, ERP (SAP) implementation, and media/entertainment industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
