SEC Yield Fund Accounting - Team Lead

Oversee daily SEC Yield fund accounting operations ensuring accurate calculations and timely reporting across assigned clients and funds.

Provide team leadership by guiding, coaching, and prioritizing tasks for analysts and associates while managing workflows, issue resolution, and adherence to controls.

Support operational stability through coordination with stakeholders, process documentation, capacity planning, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.

5–8 years of experience in Fund Accounting, SEC Yield, or Investment Accounting, preferably in a global financial services or asset management environment.

Strong technical expertise in SEC Yield calculations, income and expenses accounting, fund structures, and financial instruments.

Proficiency in MS Excel and fund accounting platforms; experience in reviewing work or team lead/backup role preferred.

Experienced fund accounting professional comfortable balancing hands-on processing with team leadership duties and operational oversight.

Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven environments with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Skilled at stakeholder communication, escalation, and driving process improvements or automations within financial operations.
