Lead design, deployment, and lifecycle management of mission-critical UNIX platforms (AIX, RHEL, Ubuntu) in a large enterprise environment.
Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, compliance, and configuration enforcement leveraging DevOps tooling and Git-driven workflows.
Ensure UNIX systems security and compliance via hardening, patching, privileged access management, audit support, and hybrid cloud integration.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of UNIX engineering experience with AIX, RHEL, and Ubuntu in enterprise environments.
Strong skills in centralized authentication/authorization (LDAP, Kerberos, PAM, SSSD, RHDS).
Proficiency in shell scripting (bash/ksh/sh) and experience with Python and Ansible automation.
Work Experience Required: 10+ years UNIX engineering experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in complex enterprise UNIX infrastructure including HA clustering, VMware virtualization, and hybrid cloud readiness.
Competent in DevOps/SRE practices such as infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipeline integration, automated monitoring and alerting.
Capable of working in heavily regulated financial services or similar audit-heavy environments with strong documentation and compliance focus.
