Deliver data-driven commercial insights, supplier and market intelligence, and category analytics to support procurement decisions for Polymers and Direct Materials.
Lead various procurement initiatives and support strategic category actions including VAVE, procurement optimization in new product introduction, and supplier innovation.
Develop and manage procurement innovation metrics, support reporting, complex commercial models, and adoption of AI tools like GEP across global teams.
Minimum Requirements
Engineering degree or higher from an accredited institution.
12-15 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, commercial analysis, supply chain, or related analytical roles.
Strong skills in procurement, category analytics, market intelligence, with advanced Excel and working knowledge of SAP, Power BI; experience with AI tools for analytics.
Work Location: Hybrid mode at 3M Global Technology Center, Bangalore, Karnataka.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in supporting Direct Materials, Polymers, or similar global procurement categories with strategic sourcing and category strategy development.
Strong analytical ability to translate complex commercial, supplier, and market data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Comfortable working in a global matrix environment with expertise in procurement systems, advanced analytics, and stakeholder collaboration.
