Lead procurement sub-category management for various chemicals, focusing on cost savings, supply assurance, and risk reduction globally, with significant responsibility for Americas spend.
Drive supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing strategies collaborating with global stakeholders, suppliers, and category teams across time zones.
Perform procurement analysis, market research, and process improvements using SAP, GEP, and other systems to support business analytics, supplier management, and sourcing execution.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or higher from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related functions involving raw materials, chemicals, polymers, or supply chain operations.
Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones; willing to support USA time zones including evenings or nights.
Hands-on experience with SAP, GEP, or other procurement/ERP systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced individual contributor capable of independently managing global chemical procurement categories and driving cross-regional sourcing initiatives.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills with proven track record in supplier management and contract negotiations within chemical or raw materials categories.
Comfortable working in a global, matrixed and hybrid environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across diverse time zones, particularly supporting Americas region.
