Principal Software Engineer

Lead design and delivery of complex cloud-native platform components, owning lifecycle from design to production.

Act as technical lead on major features, translating ambiguous problems into scalable, executable designs aligned with platform architecture and standards.

Identify and resolve technical risks focusing on reliability, scalability, operability; mentor engineers and enforce engineering excellence.

14+ years experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.

Hands-on experience developing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, CRDs using Kubebuilder/Operator Framework or similar.

Proven experience operating Kubernetes platforms (managed and self-managed) including upgrades and production support.

Strong software engineering expertise in Go; experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools like Terraform or Crossplane.

Senior engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes platform infrastructure, including orchestration, scheduling, security, and stateful workloads.

Demonstrated ability to own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, influencing technical strategy and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Experience integrating AI-powered tooling or automation into platform engineering or infrastructure operations is a key plus.
