Define and implement enterprise-wide observability strategy, standards, and telemetry framework including logs, metrics, and traces.
Lead root-cause incident generation, event correlation, alert noise reduction, and automated incident response with AIOps capabilities.
Collaborate across SRE, application, infrastructure, and service teams to embed CUJs, SLIs/SLOs, build dashboards, and drive continuous incident detection and resolution improvements.
Minimum Requirements
18+ years of experience in IT Operations, SRE, Observability, or Platform Engineering.
Strong expertise in observability tools (logs, metrics, traces), SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets), incident management, and automation.
Experience with AIOps including event correlation, alert deduplication, and noise reduction.
Work Location: Bengaluru, India; Chevron does not sponsor employment visas for this role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven senior-level experience leading observability and AIOps implementations in large, distributed/cloud environments.
Strong ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder engagements across application, infrastructure, and operations teams.
Experience designing and deploying automation workflows, self-healing playbooks, and telemetry pipelines aligned with business impact metrics.
