About This Role
- Lead development and delivery of secure, high-quality software solutions using Python and cloud technologies, ensuring operational stability and scalability.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices within the team to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Evaluate and engage with external vendors and internal teams to assess technology solutions and architectural designs relevant to firm’s business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Extensive experience building and running AWS/public cloud based applications.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle including automation and continuous delivery.
- Experience with pipelines and DAGs for data or machine learning processing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven technical leadership in adopting AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards within teams.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems and strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerized application development (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud services including AWS components like S3, EKS, SageMaker.
