Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Lead network engineering for enterprise data centre to AWS migration including design, testing, cutover, and stabilization phases.
Translate on-premises Juniper and Cisco network architectures into AWS-native designs (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs).
Troubleshoot complex routing (BGP, OSPF), connectivity, hybrid cloud links, and lead migration workstream with cross-team collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years enterprise networking experience with strong hands-on Juniper and Cisco skills.
2–3+ years in a technical leadership role (Lead, Principal, Senior Architect level).
Hands-on AWS networking experience including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, security groups, and hybrid DNS.
Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python scripting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior engineer comfortable leading technical migration discussions and decision-making across multiple stakeholder teams.
Deep knowledge of enterprise routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network security, and hybrid connectivity design.
Proficient in troubleshooting and rationalizing complex existing network configurations and translating them into cloud architectures.
