Define and own overall test strategy, quality architecture, and automation roadmap across products and teams.
Design and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks and establish quality gates with measurable metrics like coverage and defect leakage.
Lead root-cause analysis of production issues, mentor QE engineers, and collaborate with architects, developers, and product teams to influence quality and risk mitigation.
Minimum Requirements
12–18+ years of professional software testing experience including senior/lead/architect roles.
Degree: BE/BS/MCA in Computer Science or related field.
Proven expertise in test strategy definition, test automation framework design (TestNG, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent), API testing automation, and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of performance testing, security fundamentals, cloud/containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leading testing efforts for multiple teams/products with deep knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum and embedding quality in them.
Strong technical leadership with ability to influence cross-functional teams and set quality technical direction including adoption of new technologies (AI-assisted testing).
Data-driven decision maker with a track record of delivering on schedule and mentoring quality engineering teams while owning quality as final guardrail against defects.
