Own end-to-end delivery and first-level review of statutory accounting, tax provision, and financial reporting activities for assigned entities.
Manage month-end close tasks including ledger maintenance, review of PL and BS schedules, IFRS 15 model validations, and coordination with Legal Entity Controllers (LEC).
Engage with stakeholders including LEC, audit teams, and internal functions to ensure timely, accurate statutory accounts, regulatory filings, and audit readiness.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with 6+ years post-qualification experience OR CA Inter (semi-qualified) / Commerce graduate with 10+ years relevant experience in statutory audits, month-end close, and taxation (excluding articleship).
Expertise in GAAP accounting principles and practices with experience in statutory audits and tax provision processes.
Flexibility to work in shifts and ability to work under stringent deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Work Experience Required: Explicitly 6+ years post-qualification or 10+ years overall relevant experience as specified.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing and reviewing statutory accounts, tax provisions, VAT returns, and audit compliance in a global or multi-entity environment.
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across cultures, demonstrating strong coordination and organizational skills.
Technical proficiency in accounting and reporting tools such as Oracle, Essbase, Caseware, Workiva, and advanced MS Office/Power BI skills is preferred.
