Build, maintain, and operate production backend services, REST APIs, and integrations supporting Gather AI's warehouse intelligence platform.
Own full software development lifecycle tasks including design, deployment, production monitoring, troubleshooting, and system improvements.
Collaborate with senior engineers to contribute to technical decisions and progressively take ownership of platform components and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
2–5 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.
Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Proven production experience with Python and Node.js/NestJS, strong in at least one language.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, REST API design, distributed systems concepts (message queues, retries, failure recovery), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
