Participate in designing, developing, and implementing new or revised application systems coordinating with Technology team.
Monitor and control all phases of development including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of applications.
Serve as subject matter expert advising on complex application development issues and ensuring alignment with business needs and security standards.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of professional experience in relevant domain.
Mandatory skills: Python, PySpark, Big Data technologies.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL), ETL tools/processes, and Unix/Linux environments; Cloud tech like Snowflake, Starburst, Databricks preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Has strong expertise in application systems development particularly with Python and Big Data ecosystems including PySpark and Hadoop.
Experienced working in financial or investment banking domain with knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and performance tuning of ETL processes.
Capable of operating with limited supervision, providing strategic technology advice to senior stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
