Lead the end-to-end migration of enterprise data platforms from AWS to GCP including architecture assessment, migration planning, modernization, and delivery milestones.
Architect, implement, and optimize scalable GCP data platforms supporting batch, real-time, AI/ML, and Generative AI workloads with strong governance and security.
Manage and mentor engineering teams, establish engineering standards, collaborate with cross-functional US stakeholders, and own technical delivery of data migration and AI/ML solutions.
Minimum Requirements
15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Cloud or AI/ML Engineering leadership roles.
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and GCP data engineering, including experience migrating AWS data workloads to GCP.
Proven experience leading AWS-to-GCP migration projects and delivering AI/ML and Generative AI solutions on GCP using Vertex AI.
Expert-level SQL, strong Python and PySpark skills, plus experience with Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated ability to architect and lead complex cloud data platform migrations and modernization projects at enterprise scale.
Experience in building AI/ML and Generative AI production-grade pipelines and solutions on GCP with strong operational and governance controls.
Proven engineering manager with ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with US-based business and technical stakeholders.
