Define architecture, engineering standards, and reusable frameworks for cloud data platform on Google Cloud and BigQuery.
Lead adoption and delivery of AI-powered data solutions including generative and agentic AI for data discovery, build, testing, and documentation.
Act as senior technical escalation point and partner with business and leadership to shape strategy and ensure trusted data outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years experience in data engineering and data warehousing with technical leadership.
Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud, BigQuery, advanced SQL and Python.
Experience architecting and delivering large-scale production data platforms.
Hands-on use of generative and agentic AI tools (e.g. Claude, Codex) in production work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader in cloud-based data platforms with strong Google Cloud and BigQuery skills and AI application experience.
Capable of mentoring senior engineers and setting engineering standards in complex data environments.
Knowledge of finance/accounting data domain or data governance is advantageous but not mandatory.
