About This Role
- Define architecture, engineering standards, and reusable frameworks for cloud data platform on Google Cloud and BigQuery.
- Lead adoption and delivery of AI-powered data solutions including generative and agentic AI for data discovery, build, testing, and documentation.
- Act as senior technical escalation point and partner with business and leadership to shape strategy and ensure trusted data outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience in data engineering and data warehousing with technical leadership.
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud, BigQuery, advanced SQL and Python.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale production data platforms.
- Hands-on use of generative and agentic AI tools (e.g. Claude, Codex) in production work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in cloud-based data platforms with strong Google Cloud and BigQuery skills and AI application experience.
- Capable of mentoring senior engineers and setting engineering standards in complex data environments.
- Knowledge of finance/accounting data domain or data governance is advantageous but not mandatory.
