Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Cypress and TypeScript.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites to ensure test coverage and release readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage defects, analyze test failures, and support continuous quality improvements.
Minimum Requirements
4-7 years of software development or engineering experience with at least 3 years relevant to test automation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong hands-on experience in test automation using Cypress and proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web application testing, QA concepts, Agile methodology, and experience with source control tools like Git.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts.
Proven ability to design and maintain automation frameworks and test suites that include API validation and web UI testing.
Comfortable supporting production environments and integrating testing with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with exposure to Jenkins and cloud platforms.
