Lead and oversee procurement and supply chain activities for the Pune plant managing about 3,000 parts and supervising stores and logistics handling 6,000–8,000 parts.
Ensure optimal inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost reduction for direct, indirect, and imported materials including fabrication, casting, hoses, and cylinders.
Coordinate with internal teams and central SCM for planning, cost alignment, compliance, and implement advanced material handling to improve operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (DME/BE).
5–8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations.
Experience in vendor management, inventory control, procurement, and handling imported components.
Experience in manufacturing environments involving fabrication, casting, hoses, and cylinders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing high-volume procurement operations with team leadership responsibilities.
Strong negotiation and supplier performance management skills, able to independently develop alternate suppliers.
Familiar with manufacturing supply chains and capable of integrating with multiple internal stakeholders and central teams for cost and supply alignment.
