About This Role
- Own and execute fund accounting operations including ledger maintenance, journal entries, NAV calculations, reconciliations, and fee calculations.
- Support client onboarding, fund migration, data conversion, and transition activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify and implement process improvements leveraging automation and AI to enhance operational efficiency and controls.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in fund accounting or investment accounting operations supporting hedge funds, private equity, or alternative investments.
- Practical experience with journal entries, general ledger activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fee/allocation calculations.
- Advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Candidate with 3+ years end-to-end fund accounting experience including NAV, fees, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with hedge funds, private equity, or alternative investment fund structures and relevant fund accounting platforms (Geneva, PCS, etc.).
- Demonstrated ownership of client onboarding/conversion projects and exposure to automation or AI-based process improvements.
