Lead technical development and enhancement of Synchrony Data Warehouse ETL build projects including vendor oversight and review of designs and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with Data Governance, architecture, security standards, and manage production promotion processes related to Ab Initio and data warehouse technology.
Drive efficiency improvements, performance optimization, and provide senior level technical expertise and problem resolution in data warehouse applications.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or MCA.
Minimum 6 years of experience in data management including extensive use of ETL tools such as Ab Initio.
Experience with Unix Scripting, SQL, Software Version Control, Agile methodology, and data warehouse concepts.
Work timing aligns with US Eastern hours: availability between 06:00 AM – 11:30 AM Eastern Time; location flexibility but occasional travel to Regional Hubs may be required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong expertise with Ab Initio ETL tools and familiarity with its associated components (GDE, Co>Operating System, Control Center, etc.).
Proven experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Management preferably within the financial services domain.
Ability to independently manage multiple projects and coordinate with interdepartmental teams and vendors in a cross-continental work environment.
