Design and implement Wi-Fi software features and unit tests, primarily focused on prplMesh/Easymesh and RDK-B/OpenWRT platforms.
Develop and integrate mesh networking features and deliver proof of concepts for new Wi-Fi technologies.
Research, debug, and resolve field issues including client connectivity, roaming, stability, and interoperability in collaboration with silicon vendors.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Over 5 years of experience in embedded system software development.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and deep understanding of Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
Experience with WPA supplicant, Hostapd, and Radius protocol.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced embedded software engineer with focus on Wi-Fi mesh networking technologies, especially prplMesh/Easymesh and RDK-B/OpenWRT.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills working on client connectivity and interoperability issues in collaboration with hardware/silicon vendors.
Familiarity or experience with Wi-Fi 6/7 features, embedded Linux platforms, and wireless protocol standards to support innovation and product development.
