- Lead multiple software engineering teams within JPMorganChase Commercial & Investment Bank focusing on backend, cloud, and observability.
- Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC/TLM automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder relationships ensuring team deliverables comply with business requirements, compliance standards, and service level agreements.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering with formal training or certification.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and leading technology projects and managing technologists.
- Proficiency across the software development life cycle including agile methodologies like CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Practical cloud native experience and in-depth knowledge of financial services industry and IT systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in software engineering managing multiple teams within complex regulated environments like financial services.
- Proven track record of driving responsible adoption of AI-assisted development and automation tools along with governance and secure data handling.
- Strong backend expertise including Python, data pipelines (Airflow, Spark), databases, cloud technologies, and observability toolsets such as Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
