Lead migration and modernization of enterprise Microsoft SQL Server databases to public cloud platforms including GCP.
Administer and ensure high availability of SQL Server 2019 and 2022 platforms with Availability Groups and Distributed Availability Groups in a 24/7 production environment.
Automate provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle operations using PowerShell and Terraform, managing cloud database infrastructure securely.
Minimum Requirements
9+ years experience administering, designing, or migrating enterprise SQL Server databases.
Mandatory skills: SQL Server 2019 and 2022; Availability Groups; Distributed Availability Groups; PowerShell; Terraform.
Experience with cloud adoption, security, governance, and integration, especially with public clouds like GCP, Azure, or AWS.
Strong Windows Server and Windows clustering experience; Linux experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
