Lead overall operational leadership of NSDL ensuring reliability, integrity, resilience, scalability, and regulatory compliance across India’s largest depository infrastructure.
Provide executive oversight for depository operations, issuer and participant services, operational risk and resilience, technology-driven transformation, and regulatory engagement.
Serve as principal interface with Board, SEBI, and other regulators; support strategic direction and execution of market infrastructure initiatives and business continuity.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree is mandatory; advanced qualifications such as MBA/PGDM, CA, CFA, or engineering with management and relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum 20 to 25 years of overall experience with at least 10 years in senior leadership or C-suite roles.
Experience must include leading large-scale operations in regulated financial institutions, preferably in depositories, market infrastructure institutions, stock exchanges, clearing corporations, or securities services.
Location requirement: BKC, Mumbai. Regulatory clearance including "Fit and Proper" criteria under SEBI applicable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep domain expertise in Indian capital markets, securities settlement, depository and market infrastructure operations, with familiarity of regulatory frameworks including SEBI and Depositories Act.
Proven ability to manage large-scale, technology-enabled operational transformations and maintain high operational and cyber resilience in a regulated environment.
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging with regulators, Board members, and multiple industry participants at senior levels.
