Maintain and enhance a large distributed microservices platform primarily using Go, with additional work on Node.js/Express and React frontend applications.
Manage multi-environment Kubernetes deployments via Helm charts and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot production issues, contribute new feature development, and collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure improvements.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2 years of production Go (Golang) development experience with exposure to Node.js/Express and React.
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and cloud platforms (particularly GCP).
Experience working in a large microservices ecosystem (50+ services) with strong knowledge of distributed systems patterns.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced backend engineer comfortable working across Go and the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) in production-grade distributed systems.
Familiar with event-driven architectures and cloud-native deployment on GCP with multi-region environments (US and EU).
Skilled in infrastructure-as-code, observability tooling, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines, capable of independent troubleshooting and improvement of complex cloud services.
