About This Role
- Design, develop, own, and optimize robust, scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time) with a focus on performance and maintainability.
- Design and implement Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and mentor junior data engineering team members.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing and building data pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in AWS Data Services (S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, Kinesis), SQL, Apache Parquet, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg or Hudi, and CDC patterns.
- Experience with stream processing frameworks (Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, pySpark) and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
