Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) - India

Build and maintain web platforms and backend services including customer-facing dashboards, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.

Take features and integrations through all phases: design, development, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and iteration with gradual ownership of components.

Contribute to technical design decisions and improve system reliability, performance, and engineering processes in a distributed team environment.

2-5 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.

Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Production experience with Python and Node.js/NestJS, strong SQL and relational database skills, and experience designing and maintaining REST APIs.

Experience with distributed system concepts, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud platforms (Azure or equivalent), and secure coding fundamentals.

Experienced in full lifecycle backend development with practical ownership from development through production support and improvement.

Comfortable working independently and across time zones in a distributed engineering team with strong written communication skills.

Familiar with building resilient, scalable, and secure APIs and backend systems in production environments with a focus on operational reliability.
