QA Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases and frameworks for UI, API, end-to-end, performance, and security testing with emphasis on reliability and low maintenance.

Own end-to-end test coverage for assigned products or components, including root cause investigation of failures and driving defects to closure.

Set and champion QA standards, mentor less experienced engineers, drive process and tooling improvements, and act as quality point of contact including integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines and reporting QA metrics.

Minimum 2+ years hands-on software QA experience with substantial test automation ownership.

Proficient in modern test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) plus API testing.

Solid programming skills in at least one language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Python) and experience in version control and code review.

Hybrid work model requiring presence in Bengaluru office 3 times per week.

Experienced individual contributor capable of setting technical QA standards and influencing quality across teams without direct reports.

Comfortable operating in a data-driven, collaborative environment working closely with Product, Development, and DevOps to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.

Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, improve processes proactively, and communicate quality status with clear metrics and risk assessments.
