Lead execution of firmware testing for telecom products, ensuring high quality and adherence to schedules.
Develop and manage test automation frameworks for optical instruments, creating product drivers and test cases for optical performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to strategize fixes and enhancements, perform root cause analysis, and deliver sustenance releases.
Minimum Requirements
8 to 10 years of experience in telecom product testing including embedded telecommunication systems such as Transponder/Muxponder, ROADM/DWDM technologies and relevant standards (OTN/SONET/SDH/ETH).
Proficient in Python; experience with py-test is a plus; C/C++ development experience is advantageous.
Experience working in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in carrier-class telecom product environments.
Experience with test equipment like Optical analyzer, VOA, OSA, Optical Switch, Wave shaper, EDFAs, Traffic generators; and tools like JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, GIT, and defect tracking systems.
