About This Role
- Oversee the entire editorial and production process of assigned journals from article acceptance to online and print publication.
- Coordinate artwork processing requirements and maintain schedules and communication with Journal Editors and authors to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Track editorial and production progress, maintain production records, and provide relevant reports to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a reputed university.
- 2-3 years of experience in editorial and production work in journal publishing.
- Excellent English language proficiency with the ability to conduct quality checks on editorial and production processes.
- Work Experience Required: 2-3 years in journal publishing editorial and production.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing end-to-end journal publishing workflows including pre-editing, copyediting, typesetting, and author revisions.
- Ability to anticipate production challenges, suggest solutions, and plan editorial workflow efficiently.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication to maintain good relationships with Journal Editors and authors while balancing publishing house interests.
