Own the architecture and long-term technical strategy for Wind River’s developer tools platform, focusing on migrating and evolving Eclipse-based tools into a scalable VS Code–based ecosystem using TypeScript and React.
Provide cross-team architectural leadership and guidance, ensuring product consistency, integration, and strategic alignment across frontend, backend, tooling, and DevOps teams.
Architect and innovate complex developer workflows including debugging, remote connectivity, performance analysis, and AI-assisted tooling, driving modern frontend patterns and DevOps practices.
Minimum Requirements
12+ years of software development experience including senior technical leadership or architecture roles.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, especially React; strong hands-on experience with Visual Studio Code extension architecture.
Experience with Eclipse RCP/plugin architecture or similar extensible IDE platforms, API design, modular frontend platforms, and backend integration patterns.
