Review and investigate AML Transaction Monitoring alerts at L2 level, including analyzing customer profiles and transactional activities for suspicious behavior.
Prepare detailed investigation narratives and SAR-supporting documentation for complex cases involving high-risk customers and unusual transaction patterns.
Ensure investigations meet quality, timeliness, and compliance standards; support process improvements and collaborate with QA, compliance teams, and client stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
2 to 6 years of experience in AML Transaction Monitoring, TMS alert review, financial crime investigations, or compliance operations.
Hands-on experience with L2 investigations including escalation decisions and suspicious activity narrative preparation.
Strong knowledge of AML red flags, SAR/STR escalation requirements, and experience with customer KYC/CDD/EDD information.
Ability to meet productivity, quality, and SLA requirements in a fast-paced compliance environment; willingness to work rotational shifts if required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in handling complex AML investigations involving high-risk customers and financial crime indicators in compliance operations environments.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to prepare clear, evidence-based investigation documentation under operational targets.
Familiarity with AML regulatory frameworks and ideally with fintech, payments, crypto, or digital asset environments, along with relevant compliance tools (e.g., Actimize, Chainalysis) is advantageous but not mandatory.
