Protocol Intelligence
Data-driven signals on your job's competitivenessTier-1 semiconductor, metro location, and mid-level experience, but niche SystemVerilog/UVM skills moderate competition.
Highly domain-specific SoC verification and RTL skills limit transferability across industries.
Explicit 2–4 years requirement plus mandatory SystemVerilog/UVM, RTL, and SoC verification skills increases strictness.
Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments for next-generation automotive connectivity SoCs based on E2B technology.
Execute comprehensive verification activities covering embedded processors, communication subsystems, firmware, security, and mixed-signal components to ensure design functionality and reliability before tape-out.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, architecture, functional safety, and validation teams to support verification planning, debugging, functional safety activities, and regression execution.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in digital design verification, specifically with SystemVerilog/UVM testbench development and coverage-driven verification.
Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, directed and constrained-random testing, functional and code coverage, C programming with DPI integration, and experience with related EDA tools.
Work Experience Required: 2–4 years in digital design verification. Travel requirement: Yes, 10% of the time.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience verifying complex SoCs with embedded processors such as RISC-V or ARM, including knowledge of processor concepts like interrupts, exceptions, and firmware boot sequences.
Familiarity with automotive connectivity technologies, E2B technology, packet-based communication protocol verification, and automotive functional safety processes including ISO 26262.
Capable of handling moderately complex debugging and verification tasks independently, with skills in scripting (Python, Perl, TCL, shell) to automate verification workflows and support continuous integration.
