Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised mainframe application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues; conduct testing, debugging, and recommend programming solutions.
Serve as SME and coach to junior analysts while collaborating closely with solution leads and InfoSec officers to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry with intermediate level application development experience.
Proficient programming skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2 on mainframe platforms; experience in mainframe optimization and modernization required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Application domain knowledge in Banking and Payment applications (e.g. Customer Demographics, Debit Card Processor, Loans, Payments) mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in translating business requirements into functional mainframe application solutions with InfoSec considerations.
Capable of independent judgment, risk assessment, and acting as SME for senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with EMV Chip technology, 3D Secure, debit card authentication & authorization is an advantage; willingness to learn AI tools used within the organization.
