Plan and execute migrations of on-premises relational databases to AWS with minimal downtime using AI-accelerated tools.
Design secure AWS target environments (RDS, Aurora, EC2) and develop cutover and rollback plans for migration.
Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and optimize database performance post-migration.
Minimum Requirements
5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in database migration or related roles.
Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Db2 and SQL tuning.
Proficiency with AWS migration tools such as DMS, SCT, and AWS cloud services including RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM.
Experience with automation scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leveraging AI/ML tools for database migration tasks including SQL translation, script generation, and performance monitoring.
Strong understanding of AWS security practices including KMS, SSL/TLS, IAM least-privilege and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Capable of validating AI-generated outputs critically to avoid logic errors, with knowledge of downstream AI/ML data pipelines and architectures.
