Design, develop, and enhance common networking infrastructure supporting multiple Layer-2 and Layer-3 protocols within a product engineering team.
Build and maintain shared framework components for routing, switching, VPN, and overlay protocols focusing on high-performance, low-latency system software primarily in C.
Participate in full product development lifecycle including design, implementation, debugging, testing, optimization, and collaborate with protocol teams to provide reusable infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in networking or systems product development.
Strong expertise in C programming with experience in memory management, performance tuning, and debugging system-level issues.
Onsite work expected at an HPE office in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in developing scalable networking or systems software with deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms relevant to networking.
Comfortable working closely with protocol teams and designing reusable software infrastructure components rather than implementing individual protocol stacks.
Strong product engineering mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex system, performance, memory, and concurrency issues in networking context.
