About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain a global automation framework for backend/API testing to support engineering productivity and quality assurance.
- Manage and improve testing infrastructure and develop custom automation tools integrated with existing systems.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to define and deliver automation strategies aligned with testing standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience, preferably 8+ years, in backend/API automation testing.
- Strong experience in Java (including Spring Boot & Spring frameworks), Python scripting, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Proficiency with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCity, and familiarity with SQL and UNIX environments.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 7.5 years; Location: Senior role based in Pune, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and managing scalable test automation frameworks in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Skilled in backend service and microservices testing with substantial programming knowledge in Java and Python.
- Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and leveraging modern automation and AI-assisted development tools to improve testing efficiency.
